The Lady Killer Platforms
We had a comment posted on our shoe test drive to have our girl drive in platform heels and flip flops. Well, we were able to do the platform sandals and the results are in! I think we found the shoes that cause the largest safety hazzard while driving.

After watching the video I think you will see evidence that platform sandals are not made for driving. Our girl not only slipped off the pedal once but TWICE! After the drive was over my girl took off the sandals and pitched them in the back seat of the car. She pulled out her sneakers and drove home.

Those shoes are platforms?? That's a subjective opinion. Looks like thick soles to me.
ReplyDeleteAlso, if you look at "JettaFlooringSeries9", the wedge sandals on the pedals have a higher platform then the shoes in "Lady Hiller Platforms" and the driver has no issues.
The issue here isn't platforms but the heels.
I agree w/ Frank. But I don't see the issue as being plats or heels. Rather simply @ 0:33 & 1:27, Jetta wasn't taking her time when she puts her foot back on the accelerator, U can see the both times she didn't have the ball part to her toes fully prompt on the gas pedal which is why it slipped from under her foot. It happens sometimes w/ heels. But no big thing.
ReplyDeleteIf there's a real safety hazzard to driving, it's texting & driving. (You're suppose to enjoy the ride, but most importantly, keep focus on the road. Not type-riding behind the wheel!) Shoes ain't got shit ta do with it!!
